Three former educators in Atlanta were sentenced Tuesday to seven years in prison after being convicted of conspiring to cheat on standardized tests as far back as 2005. They were allegedly motivated by the promise of bonuses and pressure to meet federal and local testing standards. Two additional ex-teachers agreed to plea deals and five others convicted cheaters were given sentences ranging from one year to seven years.
