Lelisa Desisa beat out 30,000 other runners to win his second Boston Marathon with a time of 2:09:17 — a 31-second margin over runner up Yemane Adhane Tsegay. Desisa last won in 2013, hours before bombs at the finish line killed three and injured hundreds more. He's the fourth man to ever win the Boston Marathon twice. The female winner, Mare Dibaba, who came in at 2:24:55, four seconds faster than the runner-up.
