France's Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Thursday police have foiled five terror plots in recent months, with the latest being a planned attack on churchs in a Paris suburb. Police arrested a French-Algerian man on Sunday over the alleged plot after he appeared to accidentally shoot himself and called an ambulance. "The threat has never been so high," Valls told France Inter radio. "We have never had to face this kind of terrorism in our history." Valls added 1,573 French citizens or residents have been implicated in "terror networks," of which 442 were currently believed to be in Syria.
