The long battle between former Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan and Chinese firm Qiaodan Sports will head to China’s supreme court, as Jordan continues to allege that the firm built a business around his brand without his permission. According to Jordan, Qiaodan used his signature number and Chinese name for profit. (In fact, Jordan is known as Qiaodan in China.) According to a Chinese news agency, Qiaodan Sports countersued in 2013 for $8 million in damages.
