U.S. State Department worker Michael C. Ford faces charges of cyberstalking for allegedly hacking into college-aged women’s computers to obtain sexually explicit photos of them. Ford allegedly used his computer at the U.S. Embassy in London to send threatening emails to the women; in one case, he posed as a Google employee to obtain a woman’s password. According to prosecutors, Ford used the photos to blackmail the women into fulfilling his requests, including shooting videos of other women taking off their clothes.
