On Wednesday, Congress granted President Obama the authority to fast-track the expansive Pacific Trade deal that promises to give the U.S. an economic edge over China. The Senate voted 60-38 in final approval of the free-trade deal. “Within reach is an opportunity to shape tomorrow’s global economy so that it reflects both our values and our interests,” U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman said.
