Screech Sentenced to 4 Months

Dustin Diamond—the actor best known as Screech on Saved by the Bell—has been sentenced to 120 days in prison following his conviction for carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct with a concealed weapon. He was found guilty in May, after a bar fight in Port Washington, Wisconsin, in December 2014. The presiding judge said the sentence “has to send a message to the community that we’re just not going to live like this.” Diamond will also have to compete 15 months’ probation.
