Former President George H.W. Bush was in stable condition after he fell and broke a bone in his neck at his home in Kennebunkport, Maine, his spokesman said Wednesday. Jim McGrath, Bush's spokesman and speechwriter, announced the fall on Twitter and added the former president is "fine" and would be wearing a neck brace. The 41st president, who turned 91 last month, has a form of Parkinson's disease that confines him to a wheelchair or motorized scooter. More recently, he was hospitalized in December for shortness of breath.
