Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman sold more than 1 million copies during its first week on the market. HarperCollins Publishers President Brian Murray said sales “far exceeded” expectations for the book, which follows a grown-up Scout Finch as she returns home to visit her now-racist dad, Atticus. More than 3.3 million copies of the novel are now in print, despite controversies over Lee’s true wishes in regard to publication.
