The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a plan on Tuesday to bring the minimum wage up to $15/hour by 2020 in county unincorporated areas. County workers and those working in county-controlled unincorporated areas would benefit from the increase. The city of Los Angeles approved the same increase in June. “The nation is watching what we do here in Los Angeles as a region,” said Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
