The group behind the controversial Planned Parenthood videos will be investigated by California Attorney General Kamala Harris, her office announced Friday. Harris will review whether the Irvine-based Center for Medical Progress violated state law when they pretended to be workers for a biotech company and recorded Planned Parenthood employees without their permission. Four congresswomen cited reports that CMP founder David Daleiden filed paperwork for a fake identity and may have also violated the Invasion of Privacy Act. “We will carefully review the allegations raise din your letter to determine whether there were any violations of California law,” Harris wrote Friday.
