The National Security Agency enjoyed a “highly collaborative” partnership with AT&T, which helped the agency spy on huge swaths of Internet traffic, according to newly disclosed NSA documents. The documents praise AT&T’s “extreme willingness to help” with a range of classified activities from 2003 to 2013, including giving the NSA access to billions of emails. It also assisted in wiretapping all Internet communications at the United Nations headquarters, following a secret court order.
