Yellowstone National Park is on track to be visited by 4 million people by the end of the year. The national park reached 3.8 million visits by the end of September, easily topping the 2010 total of 3.6 million visits that year. A park spokeswoman said the growing numbers of visitors are due to falling gas prices and a successful advertising campaign.
