Belgium's home affairs minister on Sunday urged the country to crack down on a neighborhood in Brussels that has been linked to jihadist networks and several terrorism plots. Jan Jambon said the government does not "have control of the situation in Molenbeek," a working-class neighborhood in the Belgian capital, and authorities needed to "step up efforts" to "clean up" the area. Prime Minister Charles Michel of Belgium also voiced his concerns over the community. "I notice that each time there is a link with Molenbeek," he said. "This is a gigantic problem. Apart from prevention, we should also focus more on repression." Beligan officials said two of suspected gunmen behind the deadly Paris attacks were from Molenbeek. Authorities arrested the brother of one of the suspected attackers on Saturday in the neighborhood.
