Longtime Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz plans to retire after the 2016 MLB season, reported ESPN’s Ken Rosenthal on Tuesday. Known by fans as “Big Papi,” Ortiz has spent 12 seasons with the Red Sox, winning three World Series championships, nine All-Star selections, and six Silver Slugger Awards.
