Forecasters say a major storm approaching the East Coast could drop as much as two feet of snow, with the National Weather Service issuing a blizzard watch for the D.C. metro region. “Potential life-threatening conditions [are] expected Friday night into Saturday night,” the agency said. “Travel is expected to be severely limited if not impossible during the height of the storm Friday night and Saturday.” One to two feet of snow is expected for the Northeast, along with widespread coastal flooding.
