Jesse Matthew pled guilty Wednesday to the murders of two Virginia college students, avoiding the death penalty in either case. The former hospital orderly pleaded to two counts of murder and two counts of abduction with intent to defile in the grisly killings of 18-year-old University of Virginia student Hannah Graham in 2014 and 20-year-old Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington in 2009. Matthew will serve four consecutive life terms.
