Prosecutors said Thursday that 84 people were indicted in connection to a drug bust involving four gangs between New York City and New England. Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said an 18-month investigation found the gangs formed “an alliance of evil” to push cocaine and heroin in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Authorities said they believe the group is behind 22 shootings in the Bronx. New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton said the drugs were purchased in New York and resold at nearly four times the price in New England. Authorities said 15 guns and 16 kilograms of drugs were recovered during the months-long investigation. Of the 84 indicted, 18 suspects remain at large.
