The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina announced that five of their deputies have been disciplined for failing to adequately respond to a recent assault at a Donald Trump rally. 26-year-old anti-Trump protester Rakeem Jones was hit in the face by a 78-year-old man at a rally in Fayetteville on March 9. Three of the deputies were demoted and suspended for five days without pay, while the other two were suspended without pay for three days. All of them earned a year of probation.
