Houston police on Thursday shot and killed two suspected robbers and wounded two others at a furniture store. Five people were reportedly robbing a store and pointed their weapons at police when five officers opened fire, Houston police spokesman John Cannon said. Two guns were recovered from the scene. The suspects were under surveillance for an estimated 24 hours due to a possible connection to other robberies, police said. Two suspects, including one who suffered a minor injury, were taken into custody. The suspect who wasn’t wounded had posed as a store employee, police said. Another suspect was taken to a hospital. It wasn’t immediately clear if any of the suspects fired shots.
