Only 50 percent of tickets for the 2016 Rio Olympics have been sold so far, organizing committee spokesman Phil Wilkinson told AFP on Saturday. The poor sales come at a time of concerns over the spreading Zika virus. The Brazilian government may buy poorly selling tickets and distribute them among schools to prevent empty stadiums.
