The man accused of killing three people at a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic last year told police he was happy about what he did and admired a man who killed a Florida abortion doctor more than two decades earlier. Court records show Robert Dear attacked the clinic on Nov. 27 over allegations that Planned Parenthood sold fetal body parts. He told authorities he admired Paul Hill, a former minister who was executed in 2003 for the 1994 shootings of John Bayard Britton and his bodyguard near the Ladies Center in Pensacola, Florida. Documents also show he said he would be “met by all the aborted fetuses at the gates of heaven and they would thank him for what he did because his actions saved lives of other unborn fetuses.” The 57-year-old is charged with 179 counts including murder, attempted murder, and assault.
