Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s jet is not registered with the Federal Aviation Administration, The New York Times reported Tuesday. Registration for the Cessna 750 wasn’t renewed since its expiration on Jan. 31, 2016. FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown said Trump likely knew his plane’s registration was about to expire as the agency sends notices several months leading up to the expiration. Trump campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks told ABC News the renewal process “is just about complete.” Aircraft are required to re-register every three years for a $5 fee. If Trump doesn’t register his plane within 90 days—which is April 30—the FAA will cancel the N-number assigned to his aircraft. “Upon cancellation, an N-number will be unavailable for re-assignment or reservation for a period of five years,” according to the FAA website.
