Donald Trump said he believes that even though his proposals would include cuts, taxes on the wealthy would likely go up during his hypothetical presidency. “On my plan they’re going down. But by the time it’s negotiated, they’ll go up,” the presumptive GOP nominee said Sunday on ABC’s This Week. “I’d like to get [lowered taxes] and we’ll fight for it, but from a practical standpoint, it’s going to get renegotiated. And in my opinion, the taxes for the rich will go up somewhat.” The alleged billionaire added that he is willing to pay a higher rate: “I am willing to pay more. And you know what? Wealthy are willing to pay more. We’ve had a very good run.”
