The Navy has fired Eric Rasch, the commander of 10 American soldiers who wandered into Iranian waters and were captured for about 15 hours in January. In a statement released and provided to the AP on Thursday, the Navy said it had lost confidence in Rasch after the incident because he was responsible for the training of the more than 400 sailors in the unit. Rasch has been relieved of his duties and now reassigned to a different position.
