During Tuesday's meeting between NFL team owners in Charlotte, hosting duties for Super Bowls 53 through 55 were awarded to three different cities. Most notable, perhaps, was the handing of the championship game to Los Angeles for the 55th iteration of the game. With the Rams franchise moving back to L.A. for the 2016 season, their new stadium came into consideration for the big game. Ultimately, owners voted, Los Angeles will host the 2021 Super Bowl, with Miami getting 2020 and Atlanta housing the 2019 game. The last time L.A. hosted the game was in 1973, when the Miami Dolphins defeated the Washington Redskins, 14-7.
