An Amtrak train crashed into a van in Colorado on Sunday morning, killing five passengers, three of whom were children. The Colorado State Patrol said the van’s driver had failed to stop for the train, and authorities are investigating the incident. Four passengers were declared dead at the scene, and a fifth was flown to a hospital for treatment but died there. The names of those killed have not yet been released. No one on the train was injured.
