A Randolph County sheriff's deputy was injured during a hostage situation and shooting on Saturday in Alabama, police said. He was taken to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries, according to reports. A suspect who was reportedly armed with a handgun and a rifle was holding a hostage in a camper in the area near Lake Wedowee, after he allegedly set fire to his son's yard, house and car.
