Donald Trump and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence appeared together for the first time on Saturday as a presidential ticket, a day after Trump confirmed earlier reports that Pence was, in fact, his choice. “What a difference between crooked Hillary Clinton and Mike Pence,” Trump said, calling the Indiana governor his “first choice.” Pence said he received the call from Trump on Wednesday, but Trump was saying as recently as Thursday night that he had yet to make a final decision. Trump commended Pence for leading his state “to jobs growth and opportunity in spite of the relentless obstacles put in his way and every states’ way by the Obama administration.”
