The two people detained in the attack on Baton Rouge police Sunday have been released, state police say. The gunman left three officers dead and three others injured. The alleged shooter, identified as Gavin Long, was shot and killed by police during the attack, but two other men were taken into custody for questioning. Their identifies have not been disclosed. They were released late Sunday with no charges filed against them. Investigators are trying to determine if Long had any help “indirectly, directly, here, or at home.”
