Police at New York City’s JFK International Airport gave the all-clear early Monday after reports of shots fired led to evacuations and panic Sunday night. “At this time, no firearm, rounds, or shell casings or other evidence of shots fired has been found,” Joe Pentangelo, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Department, said after the incident. Terminal 8 was evacuated after Port Authority Police received a call about shots fired, prompting panic and a massive police response. The New York Police Department was called in to assist as police searched for an active shooter, though as of 11:30 p.m., police said they were unable to confirm any shots fired and no suspects had been arrested. Inbound flights were temporarily delayed over the incident.
