Gunmen Abduct Group at Mexican Resort

Mexican authorities say that armed men abducted a group of people, presumed to be a crime gang, from a restaurant in the resort city of Puerto Vallarta on Monday morning. Two SUVs reportedly came to the restaurant at about 1 a.m. and five vehicles were left abandoned. It is unclear if the cars belong to the assailants or the captives. Mexican media outlets reported that as many as 16 people had been taken but authorities have not confirmed that figure.
