At least 25 people were killed and 50 injured in a massive fire at a garment factory near Dhaka on Saturday. Bangladeshi authorities say the blaze was the result of a boiler explosion at the four-story Tampaco Foils Ltd. factory in Tongi, though they are not sure what caused the initial explosion. According to police chief Harunur Rashid, the death toll is expected to climb as rescuers continue their work. Many employees were still stuck inside the building at the time of the fire, he said. Nineteen people were rushed to a hospital, though three of them later died of their injuries. Hundreds of firefighters were sent to the scene to tackle the massive fire.
