Chicago Bulls star Dwyane Wade apologized on Friday for a throat-slashing gesture he made during a game against the Boston Celtics at his debut home game on Thursday. The NBA fined Wade a whopping $25,000 for the gesture on Friday, calling it “inappropriate.” Wade made the gesture after scoring a 3-pointer with 26 seconds left to go in the game. He said he’d been caught up in the heat of the moment. “I wanna apologize to my young fans on my gesture at the end of last nights game. I was caught up in the emotions of my first game at home,” he tweeted on Friday.
