Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of the UK’s Labour Party, had some harsh words for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday. “The fake anti-elitism of rich white men like Nigel Farage and Donald Trump. It’s farcical at one level, but in reality it’s no joke,” Corbyn was cited as saying by The Telegraph. “We can see the choice taken by politicians on the hard Right — to whip up division against migrants, Muslims, Mexicans, women, LGBT people, people with disabilities,” he said. Corbyn went on to accuse Trump of playing “on people’s fears and anxieties” in his campaign rather than offering any positive position or hope of change. He also criticized Trump for being a “climate change denier” after the President-elect’s 2012 climate change hoax claims surfaced earlier this week. Back then, Trump claimed in a series of tweets that global warming was “nonexistent,” and a hoax “created by and for the Chinese.”
