Following the first rally of his victory tour, President-elect Donald Trump sat down late Thursday with friendly Fox News host Sean Hannity for his first cable-news interview of his transition. The pair mocked college students who feel discomforted by the Trump electoral victory and have taken to protesting or participating in therapy sessions. “Anything you’d like to say to them to reassure their sensitive feelings that it’ll be OK?” Hannity asked his friend. “I think they’re gonna be very happy,” Trump replied. “I think we’re gonna have a very safe country, a very prosperous country. We’re gonna do things that are gonna create jobs for their parents, in many cases, where their parents are going to be able to do a lot better.” He paused, smirked, and turned to the camera, adding: “Although, most of their parents voted for me, so they don’t have the problem.”
