International investigators say the crash site of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which vanished en route to Beijing in March 2014, is likely further north than their current search area. The news comes after crews have spent the past two years scouring a specific area of the Indian Ocean where rescuers believed the plane had crashed, based on satellite data. Now, however, investigators say a new ocean-drift analysis of pieces of wreckage found suggests the plane went down further north. In the current search zone, crews have failed to locate the body of the plane, despite a 120,000-square kilometer deep-sea search. Crews were due to complete their extensive search next month, although it looks like that will now be prolonged.
