At least 16 Jewish centers across seven states received bomb threats on Monday, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports. The threats, some of which were reportedly pre-recorded, are suspected to have originated from a single source. None of the calls resulted in credible threats, although many of the Jewish centers were forced to evacuate, sending some members into the cold. Among the evacuated buildings was New Jersey center that contained a preschool, a senior center, and a site for people with disabilities. The threats come the same day as a similar campaign in London, which called in bomb threates to three Jewish schools.
