Multiple activist groups have reported civilian deaths in an attack on ISIS, likely carried out by the U.S.-led coalition in Syria. The airstrike hit the village of Akayrshi on Sunday night, about 10 miles outside the terror group’s Raqqa de facto capital. Death tolls vary among activist groups, but the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claimed as many as 12 women were killed. Another group said the strike hit a convoy of farm workers, killing a total of 22 people. The U.S.-backed Kurdish-led Syrian forces have recently captured several nearby towns and are advancing toward Raqqa.
