Checks and Designer Sneakers Are Big for Spring

The fine folks at Men.Style.com did the grunt work this season and called the top men’s buyers to see what the most fashionable males are eyeing this season. The vice president of menswear at Barneys New York claims raw denim, checked shirts, and bright colors are all being scooped up. Bergdorf Goodman’s men’s fashion director said, “Men are not coming in for another suit, or another navy sweater…They want something that feels new.” Over at Saks “guys are buying shorts like crazy” said the store’s fashion director and that, inexplicably, $800 Dior and YSL sneakers are selling out. “It's like price is no object.” Happy shopping!
