New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Wednesday that he turned down a few jobs in the Trump administration because his wife, Mary Pat, refused to move to Washington. Appearing on WFAN radio’s Boomer and Carton show, Christie said “[Trump] didn't offer me a job that I thought was exciting enough for me to leave the governorship and my family. Because Mary Pat made really clear she wasn't coming to D.C.” The couple resides in New Jersey with two of their children who are currently in high school.
