Today is the fifth anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United and protesters don’t want the justices to forget it. A handful of people interrupted Wednesday’s session to shout down justices to protest the notorious ruling. One woman rose after the justices were about to start the session at 10 a.m. to say, “I rise on behalf of democracy.” Three police officers rushed over and “forcefully subdued her,” according to SCOTUS Blog. As Chief Justice John Roberts tried to continue, a man stood up and shouted, “One person, one vote,” and a couple of others followed suit. Roberts was heard sighing, “Oh, please.”
