Reed Krakoff, president and creative director of Coach, is finally getting his long-awaited personal brand. Coach announced Tuesday that the Reed Krakoff line, which will launch Fall 2010, will be a “lifestyle brand”, producing everything from jewelry and accessories to (eventually) men’s clothing and home goods. "It's been exciting to do something really personal," said Krakoff. And he has more than that to be excited about: Coach has done remarkably well this fiscal year, with net sales of $3.23 billion, up 2 percent from last year, and the company is currently looking to open dozens of new stores internationally. The Reed Krakoff brand is set to launch at boutiques and specialty stores, as well as command 10 freestanding boutiques.
