Comcast announced plans Sunday to launch a new streaming television service for its cable Xfinity customers, offering shows from networks including HBO, NBC, and Fox. Subscribers will pay $15 a month for Stream, to get access to both live TV and on-demand movies and shows on computers and mobile devices. Stream will launch in beta in Boston by the end of the summer with plans to expand to Chicago and Seattle. The company is aiming to roll out the service everywhere by early 2016.
