A Las Vegas coroner said Monday that an autopsy concluded there was no evidence that legendary blues musician BB King was poisoned before he died in May at age 89. Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg said the cause of death was Alzheimer’s disease, along with other physical conditions. Two of King’s daughters, Karen Williams and Patty King, accused King’s business manager LaVerne Toney and his personal assistant Myron Johnson of poisoning their father. Toney, Johnson, and Brent Bryson, a lawyer for King’s estate, had dismissed the claims. The coroner’s results close the official investigation into King’s death.
