Sigh. Croatian voters went to the polls Sunday to vote on a controversial measure that will define marriage as being between a man and a woman. Hundreds of gay rights supporters marched against it on Saturday in Zagreb, but a poll by broadcaster HRT indicated that 59 percent of Croatians support the measure and just 31 percent are against. About 90 percent of Croatians are Roman Catholic, and the Church has strongly urged voting for the referendum.
