Cruz Beckham, third child of David and Victoria Beckham, continued his stealth assault on the music industry Tuesday with a new video filmed by his dad David showing off his further singing—and percussion—skills on Instagram.
The lad is clearly pitching for the—currently vacant—role of gloabal preteen heartthrob.
Last week, it was his mum who sent out a clip of her boy performing the Twista and Faith Evans song “Hope,” this time it was dad’s turn. The footballer and fashion icon this morning shared a clip of the 11-year-old performing the “cups” song “When I’m Gone,” made famous by actress Anna Kendrick in Pitch Perfect.
Like Kendrick, Cruz expertly sings an a cappella version of the 1931 Carter Family song, using a tumbler and clapping for percussion.
His is sitting shirtless in what appears to be the family’s California home.
"Look at my little man go,” wrote the youngster’s proud father.
“Ridiculously cute and the enjoyment in his face whilst doing it just makes us smile,” he added, tagging Victoria as well as Cruz’s brothers, Brooklyn and Romeo.
There have been claims in the U.K. papers this morning that Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber’s Svengali-like former manager, is interested in signing Cruz.
Don’t take less than a million, kid.
