Horrific car accidents, twisted dreams, and murder: does that sound like a great idea for a nightclub? We don’t think so either, but the noir filmmaker David Lynch does. He plans to open a club in Paris based on his 2001 film Mulholland Drive, which incorporates all of those elements. The Rue Montmarte club will be titled Club Silencio after a location in the film, which was itself named after a road in Los Angeles. It will open in September. Lynch himself designed the décor, and Club SIlencio will reportedly include a restaurant, library, movie theater, and concert hall.
