They’re ba-ack! After swearing off Facebook and Twitter for a week as part of the “Digital Death” charity campaign, celebrities Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, and others have returned to their beloved social networking sites after meeting their fundraising target of $1 million to benefit the AIDS charity Keep a Child Alive. While the celeb-loving public and the “dead” stars themselves donated half a million dollars, they were aided by an 11th hour assist, courtesy of pharmaceutical billionaire-cum-philanthropist Stewart Rahr, who decided to match the half million on Tuesday, pushing the total past the $1 million mark. “From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of the fans, friends and artists who stood together for this cause and saved real lives,” said Alicia Keys, one of Keep a Child Alive's founders, in a statement. “I am humbled by the outpouring of support from everyone.”
