Denmark Claims the North Pole

Is Santa Danish? Denmark's foreign minister has announced that the country will deliver a claim to the North Pole to the United Nations on Monday. According to data from a five-year scientific study, Greenland's continental shelf links under the Arctic Ocean to a ridge and allows Denmark to claim the 345,600-square-mile area and its energy resources. The claim will go against Russia and Canada, both of which are hoping to control it.
